Yes, we accept all referrals as long as we provide that service.

You will be billed as a private patient and offered competitive rates for your scan. You will be required to pay by cash or card on the day of your appointment.

Urgent scans are reported immediately, whereas all other scans are reported at the end of the day. Reports will be available to your doctor at the end of the day or the next working day.

Most scans are bulk billed for valid Medicare card holders. All obstetric ultrasounds will incur a private fee. Saturday service may incur a private fee. Pensioners and healthcare card holders will be bulk billed for all examinations.

Once your report is finalised, you will receive a link on your phone as a text message, after 3 days. This will grant access to your images and reports.

Yes. All radiology practices require a referral from an authorised referrer before we can perform any medical imaging study. Authorised referrers are usually doctors or dentists, but chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists and podiatrists are also authorised to send patients for certain examinations.

It is important that you tell your own doctor and staff at PMI, if there is any chance you might be pregnant. This is important information, as it will make a difference in the way the X-ray is carried out or a different test altogether might be required.
